New Generation/The Way A Girl Should Be

(Tener TC-1053)

This is an ORIGINAL copy of the ridiculously RARE Florida funk/soul 45!

The "B" side label is signed. It's inscribed "To Sandy 'The Grestest' " and looks like group member Lin (Lindsey) Morris' signature with the date 1-31-71 written. We can't be sure. The last name is hard to make out. Look at the picture and decide for yourself.

Now for the condition...

 A visual inspection would grade it VG-. It has a lot of light marks and one scratch that can be felt on the flip side. Both sides play through WITHOUT skips or repeats. That's the good news. New Generation has a lot of static hiss for about 45 seconds and then quiets down. The Way A Girl Should Be has a hiss-y tick for about the first minute and then quiets considerably. From what we've heard, known copies mostly seem to play with noise.The record plays much better on a cheap phono than a decent stereo.
