Description

Here's a real rarity, folks! This is the original issue of the album of Uncle Dave Macon's last recordings before his death, recorded at his home in 1950.  There is a CD reissue (on the Spring Fed label) of this album currently on the market.  Some reviews of that CD state that it is a reissue of the Bear Family release from approx. 1976, but this release came before the Bear Family album.  In fact, the Bear Family album was a reissue of this record, which is on the Davis Unlimited label.

This is from my personal collection and is in "new minus" condition, still in the shrink wrap and includes the original folded-page (4-sheet) insert with notes on the songs.  It shows NO wear and plays like a new record.  It has been played only a few times.
