Description
For those of you who don't know me, I have been a fan and collector of Uriah Heep recordings and memorabilia since 1975, amassing what is probably one of the top 5 collections wordwide. I have many rare and one off items. I ran the fan club for the band for 10 years before working for their then record company. After leaving the record company I worked as Bass and Keyboard tech for them for 5 happy years. At somepoint I turned from fan to friend, and at that point the collecting stopped. So it's time to move things on. If you are interested in any of the items I have please email, otherwise over the coming weeks they will be listed here.
URIAH HEEP - DEMONS AND WIZARDS
MERCURY SRM 1 630
Both Cover and LP in Good condition , The sleeve shows signs of wear and the LP has a couple of minor scatches which I don't think will effect playability. The Cover is the rare tri fold sover which was only available in the USA.
I am very proud of my 100% Ebay feedback and feel it shows that my standard of service is excellent. All items are securely packaged and posted within 3 days of receipt of payment, if not sooner. I offer a full refund (not postage costs) on items returned within 7 days, if you are not entirely happy. I get proof of postage on all items sent. Recorded delivery is optional on all items.
I no longer own a record player so all items are graded visually, most have never been played by me, just put in a box and the item ticked off a wants list! That'll sound completely mad to a non-collector, but believe me ticking those items off a wants list is very important and life consuming, if you don't believe me just ask my ex-wife!! As long as these items have been with me they have been loved and cherished. Yes I'll be sad to see them go, but times and priorities change, it's time for them to find a new home.
In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, cassettes and CDs. Anyone buying or selling records through the magazine must use our conditions to state what amount of wear and tear the disc, its sleeve and/or contents have been subject to. The seven standard condition categories, and a description of what each one means, are listed below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
