AN UPGRADE

This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!
This is the rarer 1 Box EMI press-only around in 1969! Replaced, very quickly, by the much more common 2 Box EMI labels.

SUPERB...I can only see 3 very light scuff marks to the vinyl, which do not affect playback at all...
Sounds FAB-After professionally cleaning her on a Vacuum Record Cleaner I had the joy of playing her all the way through, very carefully(!) and was incredibly happy with the clear clarity of the audio-even with incredbly quite transitions of tracks and run-ins!!
I heard so many different instruments and arrangements-it gave me a who new look at the album!!

No "Sold in the U.K." text. Rim text starts with "The Gramaphone Co.LTD"

These were around for a very short time in 1969-soon to be replaced by the more familiar 2 box EMI labels.

Even the back card is bright white!!
 An ALL ORIGINAL 1 Box EMI STEREO cover with the rarer 3 Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks...The early ones were made with 3 flipbacks and later with the flipbacks inside the cover.
The corners remain strong, with barely any rubbing.
The spine is in SUPERB & UNCRUSHED condition.
NO WRITING
Only a few very small fingers of spidering to the laminate emanating from the seams...
