Description

This is the very rare original psych 45 from the John Sinclair Freedom Rally in Detroit, Michigan. Pressed privately on Rainbow Records 22191. The A side band is the local Detroit band UP singing "Free John Now". The B side is Allen Ginsberg & Peter Orlovsky performing "Prayer For John Sinclair. This 45 was produced to benefit the John Sinclair Freedom fund who was in jail at the time. Also coming with the 45 is an original hand bill from the "Free John Now!" Benefit which was held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI. Several acts including Up, Mitch Ryder, Rumor, and several more played the event for John Sinclair. 


Condition:

The original poster or hand bill is in very good condition with a fold in the center as pictured along with some super light crinkling in a few spots as pictured. The 45 plays VG+. Visually its a lower end VG+ super clean & shiny with some light surface marks, light surface scuffs, and light hairlines. Side A has a barely feelable scuff / light scratch that doesn't affect play. Labels are nice with some light wear as pictured. Comes in blank inner sleeve.
