Berlin DJ and producer &ME tackles James Lavelle's 2019 track 'Only You' - a deep cut from The Road: Part II / Lost Highway, the full length in two "Acts" released that year - coiling it round the nail to mount a magnetic club-born offensive on the couch. With vocals from West London's Miink and string arrangements by Wil Malone, it was a relatively slept-on track, though fun fact: Malone is known as the missing producer link between Massive Attack's 'Unfinished Sympathy' and The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony'. &ME appreciates such hidden contributions as this, icing the emotional core in an slow-simmering club-ready grower, full of sideways movement and carefully valved reverb. Already teased in sets by the KM crew, it's an unlikely but effective choice of track to raise to the level of contemporary electronic staple.
