which was mid 1980's indy hardcore
from Wash D.C./Virginia area.

If my memory serves me right, this has an ultra-gravelly vocal style,
almost like making fun of the 'gruff' style of singing.
Two labels are listed. : DISCHORD RECORDS
(catalog # 10 7/8)
and
D.S.I.Records
(catalog #1)
Producer listed: United Mutation, Don  and Bert.
Engineer listed: Don (Zientara).
Recorded at Inner Ear Studio in summer of 1983 (it says here).

Dischord Records was in Washington D.C.
and D.S.I. Records was nearby in suburban Virginia.
Dischord is probably still out there (in existence) and if the name does not ring a bell, was known for
the Minor Threat singles, E.P.'s and etc. as well as the "Flex Your Head" Compilation L.P.
Others who might be on that label (if only on the compilations) are: Government  Issue, FAITH, SCREAM, VOID, Artificial  Peace....

I remember reading about DSI Records at the time, and seeing United Mutation perform someplace in the area.
This e.p. was sold at shows.

The record is in excellent shape.(hardly ever played)
There is copyright info "(c) and (p) 1983" written in pen on one side of therecord label, done by the people who sold this to me,
and there is, red ink on the other side, which was done by me and you can see in the picture.
The sleeve is a gate-fold style and looks basicly brand new.
There is a xerox included which has art and lyrics.

I am baffled by the present -day international postage rates/system,
but willing to have dialog.  Just don't want to get burned.

 
 

Note: The record is 20 something years old, and was not in shrink wrap the whole time.
         It was hardly ever played, but Nothing Sounds Like New Unless It's New.
         Used records are......Used Records.
          On the Plus SIde, this was in one of those loose, think clear plastic holders, so
          it's really in quite good shape.
          We take care of things the best we can, but with E-Bay, sometimes people have
           expectations.....
