VARIOUS ARTISTS - "UNITE"

Rare homemade protest lp from circa 1969. Word is that this lp was pressed in very limited numbers and handed out during protests in the San Francisco Bay Area to anyone that had a portable turntable. It is a various artist lp of protest oriented music such as 'Revolution' by the Beatles, 'Brave New World' by the Steve Miller Band as well as The Byrds, Johnny Cash, etc. There are also some live cuts like Jefferson Airplanes 'Counter Revolution' and I believe one long track by Richie Havens. The cover is the true gem! It is hand made with a red silk screened image of a fist grasping a peace sign on the black white cover. There is no text on either the back cover or the labels. The cover is a real framer and a nice historic relic from the days of peace, love and protest.
