Description
This album sounds so good! I sonic cleaned and play tested the record. There are 2-3 soft ticks as the stylus moved to the opening track. Outside of that it sounds amazing! See images and discussion below on the record. This record has gotten expensive, so I play tested it for quality and because this is a top 10 numetal album imo that sounds amazing on vinyl.
This is the only pressing that exists and it’s extremely hard to find, especially with the resurgence of numetal.
Record: VG+ because
1) there are superficial scratches. I added an image of every flaw I could find. The scratches are faint and do not impact sound or play (I tested with a blue ortofon stylus).
2)The record is dish warped, which I isn’t notice until I flipped it over to play side 2. The dish warp does not impact sound and the record didn’t have issues spinning on my table.
Overall this is VG+. Without the dish warp I’d rate it EX, but that warp should impact grading even if it didn’t impact sound.
Album Cover: VG (on the high end of VG because
1)Cover has slight ring on top front of cover that is the result of a bend, which isn’t that noticeable at first .
2) General corner dings from shelf wear and being kept outside of an outer sleeve. ; see images.
Overall I struggled between whether VG or VG+ is best description. I decided I’d rather be happy receiving it as a high end VG than as a low end VG+ , so I went with that.
