MINT...................Most probably unplayed, should give perfect  reproduction. Such a record will have a perfect shiny surface without the slightest blemish or mark on the playing surface.

NEAR MINT..... Record has been well looked after.  Virtually flawless but may have very minor scuffs or marks that should not sound during play.  However, please do not expect a mint record. 

EXCELLENT.......Record may have a few slight surface marks whilst most should be inaudible some may cause tics etc. The record may have some spindle marks or  have a slightly dull surface. As with all vinyl there could be some background noise.

VERY GOOD......Some audible marks or scuffs  but the record will be playable.

MINT..........................Cover as new no marks or damage whatsoever. 

NEAR MINT..............Cover nearly as new.

EXCELLENT.............Cover may have a little age wear or some blemishes. corners may be burred.possibility of writing on rear from previous owner. 

VERY GOOD.............Cover may have some minor damage, age wear, tears or discolouring.

GOOD.........................Cover will have age discolouration, wear etc.
