THE UNDERTAKERS-45-Unchain My Heart b/w It’s My Time-Studio 7 Records # U-101-KILLER 1966 Garage-Punk out of Amarillo, TEXAS-David Shutt gave this a 4-Star out of 4-Star rating =‘INCREDIBLE’-in his definitive JOURNEY TO TYME Texas Garage-Punk guide, and he didn’t give out 4 Star ratings unless they WERE! I have to agree-A side is a FUZZ-guitar driven KILLER Punk version of Unchain My Heart-great driving rhythm, totally great fuzz lead guitar break-fuzz guitar at times is drenched with reverb-somewhat tortured-gutteral lead vocals-KILLERKOOL...B side is of a similar nature-more Farfisa Organ dominated, cryptic lyrics, and a great dual Farfisa-Lead guitar break in the middle and again at the end. Again, tortured gutteral lead vocals...KILLER RECORD. What else could you expect from TEXAS??? Condition: Record is in really nice condition-VG+ or better –not quite Mint-Minus, but close, as I said, really nice condition.
