The Tempo label has massive appeal for the Jazz Collector and this release TAP 26 (titled The Last Word) by the Jazz Couriers is one of the highest prizes of them all. Featuring the musical talents of Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, Terry Shannon, Kenny Napper and Phil Seamen.
This is a fine copy of this RARITY with the cover having slight wear, I will grade it harshly at VG ++, there is minor creasing on front cover and signs of slight laminate lifting on opening edge. Spine is clean and clear. laminated rear cover is very nice and grades higher (no rips or tears) !!
The Vinyl under a strong light is above the average, has been played but looked after well. Signs of spindle marks and 1 or 2 scuffs on Vinyl that do not affect listening quality, to be on the safe side I will again grade at VG ++, there is slight background noise throughout, more so at very start of side 2 although still slight, it remains a great listen that the connoisseur will enjoy time and time again.
Overall this is a very nice example of a huge rarity
