A set of three discs produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for sale to other radio stations round the world.

DEEP PURPLE: "The Gemini Suite"

Played by DEEP PURPLE with the ORCHESTRA of the LIGHT MUSIC SOCIETY, conducted by Malcolm ARNOLD, 17th September 1970 in London's Royal Albert Hall

Professionally recorded in stereo by the BBC this is the programme broadcast on BBC radio in 1970 and NOT the PURPLE RECORDS LP of the same title

These discs are incredibly rare and should be of interest to collectors of Deep Purple rarities.

Although the performance covers two discs, only three sides are used, the fourth being blank

CONDITION: Sleeves: the discs of course are housed in non-pictorial generic sleeves, which are fairly sound and in good condition. DISCS: Visually the discs are in superb condition and should sound excellent. No grazes, hairline marks or more serious scratches
