Description
Extremely hard to find jazz 10” 33rpm compilation LP on the UK Esquire label, catalogue number 20-011, ‘A Modern Mixture’ volume 1, featuring, among others, Victor Feldman, Kenny Graham’s Afro-Cubists, The Johnny Dankworth Seven, The Ronnie Ball Trio, Ronnie Scott Quartet, Tito Burns Sextet, with personnel including Johnny Keating, Ronnie Scott, Tony Kinsey, Don Rendell, Jimmy Deuchar and many more.
Side-flap opening sleeve has some ringwear, storage grubbiness, light corner and edge wear and creasing, and there is also a small punch hole in the sleeve (and the inner sleeve and Record). The sleeve grades VG minus.
The vinyl plays very well, with loud mono audio. Each side has some light surface marks, small hairlines and light pattern transfer marks from the inner. There is some background crackle, plus a little surface noise audible in quieter parts, with the occasional dust click. Could benefit from a professional clean.
Taking into account a visual inspection and still strong playing quality together, the vinyl grades VG.
