Description
An auction for a bundle of four UB40 12" vinyl LP records, including Signing Off (1980), The Earth Dies Screaming/Dream A Lie (1980), Present Arms (1981), and UB44 (1982), by DEP International/Graduate Records.
Please read the following description carefully. I am a novice collector of records and so am no expert on grading. I don’t currently have a record player set up so I’m grading these vinyl records based on how I see them.
My sales are from a smoke-free home, however, the following four records are from a smoker’s collection. However, the smell is not that strong on any of them with just a slight musty smell on some.
The sleeves vary in condition from good to very good plus with the vinyl records varying from good to excellent for their age. I’ve put very good plus for both as most are towards the middle end of the scale.
Included is:
Signing Off - 1980, Graduate Records, GRAD LP2, West Midlands: sleeve and inner in very good plus condition as there are just a few marks but the card is sturdy and the inners fine. The records need a good clean but I couldn’t notice any marks.
The Earth Dies Screaming/Dream A Lie - 1980, Graduate Records/New Claims/ATV Music, 12 GRAD 10: sleeve in good to very good plus with the outline of the vinyl in the card. No inner sleeve but the vinyl is in very good plus condition with minimal marks.
Present Arms - DEP International, LP DEP 1, Birmingham: the sleeve is in very good plus condition with just a few marks to each side of the white record. The inner sleeves are at least very good plus and both vinyl records seem excellent as I couldn’t notice any marks - they just need a good clean. This is the record in the best condition of the four.
UB44 - 1982, DEP International, LP DEP3: sleeve and inner sleeve seem just about good but there are some marks and heavy signs of wear as highlighted. The vinyl does have quite a few scratches to both sides. This is the album in the worst condition of the four.
The four records will be posted in a protective vinyl envelope.
