1982 CBS     -     PAC II (4 U2 PLAY)

Grade Vinyl: NM          /          Grade Cover: EX

Original and rare UK printed 4 x 7" Singles released on CBS (PAC II/4 U2 Play). Housed inside a fold-out PVC hanging display pack with title/picture header card. (see scans).

SET is graded: NM/EX. Vinyl is Near Mint, clean and shiny vinyl, very nice. Cover is EX, very nice. (see scans).

This second pack of 4 x 7" vinyls was released by CBS in Ireland only, shortly after the inital four pac was released.  This packs was made up of singles pressed with either the CBS orange and yellow label, or the CBS red label with white print, all were pressed on black vinyl.  Unlike the initial four pac, each release of this set contained the same four singles. 

The pac itself came in a plastic sleeve which displayed all four vinyl covers in a square. At the top of the plastic pac was a header banner which names this set as "U2 Pac II" (this one has the 4 U2 Play on topheader though!) and also has "Exclusive to Ireland" written on both sides.  The plastic also has two metal lined holes from which to hang the pac for display purposes.

We use the official GOLDMINE GRADING RANKING when grading vinyl:

SS (Still Sealed): Still sealed in its original shrinkwrap.

M- (Mint Minus): The record appears new, but a closer look reveals that it may have been played. Flawless.

EX (Excellent): A record in really good condition. It can have some minor scratches maybe some light scuffs from contact with the inner sleeve, but nothing that affects the sound.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): The record will have appeared to have been played, and have some visible wear (lines, light scratches, scuffs...ALWAYS DESCRIBED!), but the record is playable.

It is very rare that Accord sells items under the VG+ condition. It only occurs if the item is of special interest to collectors.
