What you have here is a rare and unique U2 PROMO ONLY ALBUM SAMPLER NO. 5 for THE JOSHUA TREE album from 1987 and is in an UNPLAYED CONDITION !!!
As you might know some industry people received the VERY RARE BOX SET with 5 promo singles in a unique box, but once copies of that run out, other industry people were given individual copies of the album sampler, as is the case with the singles I am selling, well here is one UNPLAYED PROMO ONLY SINGLE - U2: THE JOSHUA TREE - ALBUM SAMPLER NO. 5 (I also have another 3 auctions for other JOSHUA TREE ALBUM SAMPLERS RUNNING AT THIS TIME - SAMPLER 2, SAMPLER 3, SAMPLER 4, and SAMPLER 5 all in pristine UNPLAYED CONDITION!!!).
This copy came from an industry person who worked in a radio station at the time (and came with a few other one off items which I will list over the next few months), and have been stored since the day they have been received !!!.
The single came out on ISLAND RECORDS, and was given the catalogue number of U2 6-5 and has: PROMO COPY NOT FOR RESALE, and the PROMO A LABELS on both sides !!!.
The tracks are: IN GOD'S COUNTRY / BULLET THE BLUE SKY.
As I said , this is the only way to get this SPECIAL RADIO PROMO ALBUM SAMPLER VERSION, SO DON'T LET THIS PASS YOU BY!!!
The condition of the vinyl is UNPLAYED MINT- condition, P/S in EX+ condition.
