Description

Rattle and Hum is the ambitious 1988 double album by Irish rock icons U2, serving as a companion to the documentary film of the same name. Released on Island Records catalog 7 A1-91003, this project finds the band exploring American roots music, blues, and gospel while on tour in the United States. The record is a hybrid of high-energy live performances and new studio tracks, featuring the hit singles Desire, Angel of Harlem, and the powerful collaboration with B.B. King, When Love Comes to Town. It also includes the haunting live cover of Helter Skelter and the moving tribute to Billie Holiday, Love Rescue Me. Historically, it represents a period of deep musical exploration for the band following the massive success of The Joshua Tree. This specific copy is a double LP gatefold in Excellent condition, truly a gem for any collector.
