Metallic gold 180gram 2LP 1987's 'The Joshua Tree' features some of U2's biggest and most enduring hits, including "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "With or Without You". The band employed a hard-hitting sound & tighter song structures than their previous record, 1984's 'The Unforgettable Fire'. This album is influenced by American and Irish roots music, and contains socio-politically conscious lyrics embellished with spiritual imagery.
Zooropa
Blue 180gram 2LP Produced by Flood, Brian Eno, and The Edge, 'Zooropa' was inspired by the band's experiences on the 1992-93 Zoo TV Tour. The album expanded on many of the tour's themes of technology and media oversaturation. The record was a continuation of the group's experimentation with alternative rock, electronic dance music, and electronic sound effects.
