Best of The BBC Rock Hour - U2. (#511 - broadcast the week of March 11, 1984). This is one of the most rare and sought after U2 collectible recordings. This concert was pressed on high quality audiophile vinyl. (Check the photos of the cue sheet for songs performed). This disc is in mint condition.
Very rare original promotional issue for radio use only. Pressed on dark translucent vinyl. These were produced in limited quantities as they were intended for broadcast use only, and most copies were destroyed after use. The radio programs include original music, random audio samples between songs to enhance the theme of each show, original commercials and/or exclusive interviews. They are very hard to find, especially in this condition. Each show includes its original cue sheet. These belonged to a radio DJ that saved them from the trash can, and now you can have a rare original copy of a great radio show. Get it while you can.
I am a 40 year veteran of the music industry, selling off many goodies from my personal collection. Everything has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, air-conditioned space.
