Description
This is a rare early mono copy of the 1969 album with blue and silver Regal Zonophone labels LRZ 1007. Matrix numbers 51-2, 52-2. I have owned this for nearly 50 years and it had a lot of play in its early years. It still plays well and the photo on the cover of the gatefold sleeve is a superb representation of Bolan pre T.Rex.
CONDITION
I use the RC grading categories and have play graded the vinyl on a Linn LP12. My records have been stored in a pet free, smoke free home.
Sleeve: Good+
The cover has edge, corner and spine wear and there is a two inch section of the top seam unglued. The spine text is partially obscured. The laminate is intact but creased. There is no writing or stains and no tears. The inner gatefold is very good with lyrics and background images clear.
Vinyl: Good+
The record has been played a lot as can be seen by the amount of spindle marks. There is audible crackle at times and several light ticks. There are no sticks, loud repeat clicks, skips or warping. The vocal and music comes across loud and clear and it is a good listening copy.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
The record will be packed in a record mailer with stiffeners and posted 2nd class signed for. I remove all records from outer and printed inner sleeves before packing to avoid damage to covers during transit. All albums are dispatched in polythene sleeves.
I am not a dealer but have been buying records for over 40 years and have decided to let go of some records in the interest of ‘downsizing’.
