Description
Two rare autographed B-52's vinyl LPs, Mesopotamia (4th release in 1981) and Whammy (fifth release in 1983), in very good condition. These 12" records belong to the 1980s era. The band B-52's is known for their alternative style, and these LPs showcase their unique sound and creativity from that time period. With the added bonus of being autographed, these vinyl records would be a valuable addition to any music collector's stash.
Note: Whammy is a promotion copy and marked on the front cover (see photo). Also note that Mesopotamia is considered a "MINI" LP due limited number of songs and length. It was produced by David Byrne, of Talking Heads. Both are autographed by three of the original band members; Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Keith Strickland, autographed when I met them in 2011 when they played at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.
I purchased both albums around the time of issue in the 1980's. The covers are in great condition and both come with the original inner sleeves. Both albums have not been played in years but appear to be in good condition, with very minor scuffs but no visible scratches, however I cannot guarantee their playable condition.
