Here are two of my original signed Elton John lps, signed for me personally in 1996 by Elton at Woodside.
These are two of the last couple of albums signed With love Elton John x
Although I’ve described the signature as ‘certified original’ it has not been officially certified by any of the numerous agencies that appear to certify the most awful fake signatures these days. I have an extensive collection of signatures from The Beatles to Madonna, built up over thirty years and I think I have as much knowledge in this area of expertise as some of these dubious organisations.
Nevertheless please feel assured that this signature is 100% genuine and I’m absolutely happy to offer a full refund including postage for anyone not totally satisfied on receipt of this album carefully returned.
The two albums are the gorgeous Tumbleweed Connection Elton’s magnificent 3rd studio album from 1970, which was signed privately for me by Elton with a black sharpie. It is un dedicated and says ‘with love Elton John x’. And the second is Elton’s Self Titled second album, signed beautifully by Elton on the front cover with a black sharpie, again saying ‘with love Elton John x’.
A fabulous item or gift for any Elton John fan!
Both albums record sleeve covers and inner sleeve s are in very good to excellent condition although the vinyl is in good condition and will play through with small amounts of background crackle in places.
We all know Elton as the musical genius that he is and he’s still performing at the very highest level, with all the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger man. Very sadly he will be finishing his current mammoth farewell Worldwide Tour in July and will not be touring again.
What a lot of people don’t know so well is what a kind and generous man he is and someone I’ve been lucky enough to work for on a number of occasions over the last thirty years in my capacity as an architect and interior designer.
As proof of the authenticity of this item please see photo 3 showing me entering through the front gates at Woodside, Elton’s UK residence near Old Windsor. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Woodside on many occasions over the last thirty years in my capacity as an architect and designer.
Photo 4 shows other albums Elton has signed dedicated to members of my family and are not included in this auction.
A letter giving full authenticity and details of when and exactly where the album was signed will be included in the sale. This is 100% genuine as you will see when you receive the album so I’m quite happy to offer a full money back no quibble guarantee if you’re not completely satisfied.
Elton’s autograph has changed significantly over the last fifty years, through three main stages, this signature is typical of the 1990s. Unfortunately many of the signatures one sees being sold on eBay, in my opinion, are fakes.
