This is a legendary album in Turkey which still leaves a huge impact on young people who listen to it for the first time and it's an album still lost a bit on the collector circles outside Turkey since people are not much sure what it's all about! Since there are many Turkish folk psych albums in the ethnic sense of the "folk" term, I think this LP is usually mistaken for those albums... but it is rather different.
Bulent is a singer-songwriter who recorded this album in 1973 and "succeeded" to release it in 1974. He is much influenced by Donovan and the music on the album reminds me of early works of Nick Drake and Duncan Browne. Especially some parts continually remind me of Browne's classic "Give Me Take You" album. It sounds more like a 1967-68 UK folk album with pop psych tendencies. The lyrics are truly awesome "city poetry" as you can call it but unfortunately you won't understand it if you're not Turkish! Samples will give you a good idea on the music.
Cover is VG+ and disc is around VG++ (strict grading). Grooves are very clean and there are few hairline scuffs. Nice original copy with the gatefold cover! (Note: When it was first released in 1974, it did not attract any attention and sold poorly. Somehow around 1978-79, to both Bulent's and the company's amazement, the record company started receiving orders on the album again! After selling the few stocks of original copies (which were only pressed in limited quantity anyway) the company issued new copies without gatefold covers and this album made its best sales in early 80s! Any non-gatefold cover copy are of second and third pressings.)

Some notes on the samples: Each sound file was created ONLY by using the same copy offered here on auction (not by another copy). I had to keep the file sizes small for various reasons therefore these sound sample files contain only very small snippets from songs on the records and they really gave me a hard time when editing in order to give you a fair idea of the exciting music contained in these records.
