Description
Orange label with black text. A Bill Grauer Production is credited at the bottom of the label. The Jazz Couriers feature Tubby Hayes, tenor sax, vibes, flute and Ronnie Scott, tenor sax are co-leaders on this record. Also included are Terry Shannon, piano; Kenn Napper, bass; Phil Seamen, drums. 7 tracks. Recorded in London in 1959.
Cover: Good(-) The jacket is intact . There is a horizontal surface tear across the lion design on the front cover. Also, part of the "L" and "A" in "Jazzland" at the bottom of the label have been rubbed off as well as part of the word "Couriers" at the top of the jacket. There is a small amount of wear on part of the spine on the front cover as well a small surface tear near the spine. This has little affect on the overall condition of the jacket. On the back cover there is some discoloration along part of the spine. This is light and does not affect the text.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Mon markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only 1 or 2 times with care. On Side1, Track 1, 2 clicks at the beginning of the piano solo. On Track 3, 3 clicks at the beginning of the Track. 1 click during the piano solo near the end of Track 4. On Side 2, Track 2, 1 light click near the beginning of the Track, 3 clicks further along the Track, and 2 faint clicks at the end of the Track. Overall, fine condition. Audibly checked.
