Description
Very scarce original LP on the orange CBS label.
Cover has no major creases or tears but does have a couple of inches light ringwear at the top front. Also has some wear to the top and bottom edges, the top just starting to split a bit but only noticeable on close examination. Spine is clearly legible and opening still pretty crisp. There is a small circle on the back where a sticker seems to have lifted some of the print (see photo). Despite this it's still a pretty good copy of this LP sleeve which is a delicate one you will often find has significant damage. (if you can find one at all)
Labels are nice and clean with some light spindle marks which are mainly visible when held up a bright light.
Disc looks pretty clean but when held under a bright light will show a number of light surface marks but no real scratches. Plays well with a few pops and crackles in places (no jumps) which I believe is a common problem with these CBS pressings. Many never played perfectly from the start and you should not buy this if you are looking for a copy that plays perfectly or has no marks on it. Not sure you will ever find one that does play perfectly.
Overall a passable copy of a very difficult to get LP. By no means a perfect copy but one well worth having until that perfect copy turns up if it ever will. You may just have trouble finding one much better than this.
