Tradewinds 5 45 titled "Come on Your Alright/While I'm Away"; Reaction 1006, 1960s. "Come on..." sounds in NM condition and "While I'm Away" in VG+ (I test-played them entirely). "Come on..." is a frantic soul rocker with an insane keyboard instrumental break. Recorded in Rochester, MN, but I believe the band was from North Dakota. To U.S. locations, the mailing charge is $4, first class. Combined with other 45s, the cost is the same $4 for 1-3 discs; $5 for 4-9 discs and $6 for 10 or more. Ten or more discs will be mailed in the U.S. by priority mail. Free mailing to U.S. locations for any winner whose single bid or combined bids exceeds $75. I typically mail within 24 hours.

International bidders: I try to combine records to save on the mailing cost. Please note that the mailing cost to international bidders goes up at 2 records, but stays the same up until 9 records. For example, one record mailed to a European address is $15. Two records is $24.50, and three to nine records also is $24.50.

This record comes from a collection belonging to a former employee of the Columbia Records plant in my home city of Terre Haute, IN, who worked on the production line in the 1960s and 1970s. The records in the collection were pressed there, three miles from my house. Most (or all) of the wear on these records is storage-related, and not from play, as they sat in the basement of the employee's home for decades until I bought them in 2014.

Play-grade definitions: NM (near mint) -- little for no surface noise. VG+ (very good plus) -- surface noise but does not interfere with the enjoyment of the record. VG (very good) -- surface noise that is noticeable. Whether or not it interferes with the enjoyment of the music depends on your level of tolerance. G (good) -- noticeable surface noise, at least some of which likely will detract from your enjoyment of the song. I seldom list records that skip or catch and would never do so without noting such a major flaw in the description.

All my records are test-played in their entirety, unless noted. Please note that I seldom grade a record's playing surface visually because of the subjective nature of the judgment -- the tendency for vinyl to sound much better, or worse, than it looks.
