Description

TRACTOR - (Dandelion LP 1972)

Eponymous LP by Tractor released on John Peel's Dandelion Records.  The sleeve is in excellent condition. It has no tears or major creases.  The spine is also in excellent condition with all the text reading as new.

The vinyl has no scratches or significant marks, is in excellent condition overall and plays well.  The labels have some very minor signs of ageing but look just fine.

The tracks are:

SIDE ONE: All Ends Up; Little Girl In Yellow; The Watcher; and Ravenscroft's 13 Bar Boogie

SIDE TWO:  Shubunkin; Hope In Favour; Everytime It Happens; and Make The Journey

Following the release of the remarkable 'A Candle For Judith', The Way We Live changed their name to the much simpler Tractor for this, their second LP.  The promise of 'A Candle For Judith' was exceeded.  This album was a landmark release on Dandelion - commercially nowhere but critically lauded and justifiably now much sought after for its musical achievement.  It's a great record.

The label is the third Dandelion album design, carried during the label's Polydor era.  Cat. no. 2310 217 SUPER.

Keep an eye out for other albums and singles that I will be listing over the next few weeks - more rare stuff from the 1970s, in particular
