Not to be confused with the posers Tora Tora that released "Surprise Attack" in 1989 or the British band with that name, these Tora! Tora! seemed to hail from Illinois, at least the contact/label/management address says so while the album was recorded in Iowa. Although their Metal wasn't that heavy too, but their main talent was certainly to compose melodic US Metal songs with a few NWOBHM hints that could get even airplay at any radio station while the basic heaviness didn't got lost at all. "Made in America" is a Melodic Metal album parexcellence for fans of that genre, lead by the superior vocal arrangements of the curly haired and bearded Jerry Allen.
