Tony Sheridan & The Beatles – My Bonnie, 1963 UK Polydor 7” NH 66833.

This is a lovely original example of My Bonnie / The Saints by Tony Sheridan & The Beatles. The record was first issued in Germany in 1961. The first UK issue was in 1962, and this is a pressing from 1963 with a slightly smaller type-face for the song-title and the names of the artists. It was released on the Polydor label in 1963 (recorded in 1961) – NH 66833 – and is in EX+ condition. There are a handful of faint background ‘ticks’ in the quieter introduction but this seems to be true in any description that I have come across for this single. It has no scratches or scuffs and the surface on both sides is amazingly glossy for any 50 year old single, let alone this particular one. I can just see on the a-side in the push-out centre some raised letters, which are almost certainly the tax-code. One is the letter T and it looks like it might read 0/T 1, although it really is quite faint and if that makes no sense then obviously I am reading it wrong! The textured orange labels are lovely and clean with no writing, stickers or other faults. (To be really critical there is a very slight rub on the push-out centre on the a-side, but it really is negligible).

The record will be supplied in what I assume is its original cover. It is certainly the correct type of cover for the record – marked Made in England on the back - just as each label has the words Made in England printed in white. It is the cover I bought it in and there is no reason to think that they have been 'married together'. There is some creasing in the bottom right corner but other than that – like the record – it is in lovely clean condition.

TRACKING NUMBER. Foreign Biddders The reason that the foreign posal costs may seem high on this item is that it includes £5 for a tracking number - the Royal Mail International Signed For service -  so that both you - the Buyer - and myself are covered under the buyer protection policy.

It is impossible to be an expert in all realms of collecting, and I am honestly representing this item to the best of my knowledge and ability. If the item has a fault then I have mentioned it. I ask that you read the description and examine the photos carefully. I also encourage you to ask any questions you may have during the auction to help clarify identification or condition, as I may inadvertently omit information that you as a collector feel is important.          

 If after you receive the item there is any problem at all please let me know BEFORE leaving feedback or leaving a low Item As Described rating.  If you do not let me know of a problem I have no way of knowing what may have been wrong and I really do want to sort it out.

CONDITION.  The majority of items that I list are between forty and sixty years old.   Some are older and some may be a few years younger.  I have described the condition of the item in my text but where applicable I have also ticked the 'used' box as even where an item is 'perfect', it is very old and logic says it must have been handled and probably used at some time over the decades!

DELIVERY TIMES.  Although I have ticked the Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard option, please note that this service is reliable and often is unexpectedly fast.  For the last couple of years I have actually posted lighter items first class, even though 2nd class has been paid for.  Please note that from now on - due to the post office price increases, I will be sending all items 2nd class unless first class has been paid for.

Worldwide Postage / Shipping. 

In May 2012 the new much-increased Royal Mail Air Mail rates came into effect.  After absorbing the costs for the last two  years - this rise was so huge that I had to increase my prices.   Many apologies for this.    I really am trying to keep the prices as low as possible.

PACKAGING.    Please note that all of my items are well-packed in thick card or in boxes, and then wrapped in good quality brown paper.   Many of my feedback comments mention my good packaging and I will of course continue to meet my own standards.
