Description

This is a Tony Rice LP vinyl record titled "Me & My Guitar" released in 1986 by Rounder Records. The album features Tony Rice playing the guitar and includes bluegrass and folk genres. The record is in near mint condition (NM or M-) and the sleeve is very good plus (VG+) it has some slight color spotting on the rear of the sleeve, but the record and integrity of the sleeve are top notch. The record has a speed of 33 RPM and a size of 12". The album is an original release and has not been modified.

RIP Tony Rice died at 69 in Dec. 2020. This album features 12 tracks, mostly covers of songs by James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, and others. He also wrote two original instrumental pieces, “Port Tobacco” and “Tipper”. He was accompanied by several musicians, such as Vassar Clements, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, and Kathy Chiavola. The album received positive reviews from critics, who praised his guitar playing, singing, and song selection.
