- Yes this is the belt buckle on the cover of the Album and is going to look phenomenal framed with the autographed album. album Well, its safe to say you are a Tom Scott Jazz enthusiast and Love the album. I lived in Laurel cyn. When it came out I lieved next door to Bass player Chuck and wife Enid Domanico. Chuck was kinda like a second father to me. Chuck very often had jam sessions with all the top Jazz players in town. Too many names to list. It was the best of times. I could go on for days. Enid called me over one day and told me that Tom has a new record out its going to blow you away. Well needless to say WOW. She passes me the promo album with the cover we all know and love and told me that Chris posed for the photo. Apparently Lou had 100 belt buckles made to give away to friends and fellow musicians. Well, Enid floored me and gave one to me. I almost died. Well 10 years went by and a whole lot of water went under the bridge and i had lost something near and dear to me my Tom Scott and the L.A. Express belt buckle. I went on a quest for 30 years to find another one. It was a needle in a hey stack. You can look till your blue in the face. Till one day there it was. The guy told me it didnt have the buckle part on the back because it was used to on the album cover and it needed to be flat for the photo. I didnt believe him but i guess its not out of the question. Then i thought its a test pressing.....hummm could be. At this point I was more than overjoyed I had found one. Well now a days Im selling things i thought i would never part with on ebay. I hope it goes to someone that enjoys it as much as I have. This just in....... As it turns out It was producer, director Lou Adler that had the belt buckles struck and he's the one that passed them out. So if you know Tom Scott this would make a great gift for Tom. Trust me. I have inside information. You can look on ebay for fifty years and NEVER see this offered for sale. If you have one send me a picture because I kinda just don't believe it. Nothing personal but its just THAT rare.
