ULTRA rare radio promotional only from 1982. These were made for the show Retro Rock in batches of a FEW HUNDRED only... I have seen a few of these shows around ST Louis as these were produced here locally, but even here are extremely rare. This one features an hour long extended play program on a single LP of a live performance from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in 1982. This performance was only issued on this radio only promo disc in a few HUNDRED copies... it doesn't get any more rare than this. NM- EP 12" runs about one hour, and because of the small grooves and extended play has a few ticks in the program, but are easily completely removed with the tick filter, something that was in use at most radio stations at the time this was made (and now available on the net for free!). The audio player in this auction features a full side of this LP with vintage commercials. This is probably the only time you will ever see this fantastic rarity. I have never seen a que sheet from this program out of the several discs I've found and tend to think that they didn't have sheets, probably were shipped in a cardboard mailer with an inner... After listening I think the gig is from Boston...

Be prepared for last minute snipers. (many folks write me after the auctions about how they got outbid in the last minute, so get your best bid out there, the last minute is the hottest bidding, and I know that some of these titles will bring some inexperienced Ebay bidders out of the woodwork... best of luck!)
I specialize in rare or unavailable psych and indie Lp's and I guarantee all of my auctions!
