Description
Offered here is The Best of Everything by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on heavyweight vinyl (4LP box set).
Records have been ultrasonically cleaned and fully play tested on a quality turntable.
***Read the playback notes below regarding two tracks with repeating static in one spot.
The set includes all four records, original sleeves, and booklet.
Vinyl Condition:
Overall VG+ with playback notes.
LP1 – Side B Track 1 ("You Don’t Know How It Feels") has visible marks that cause a moderate repeating static area that does decrease and eventually go away about 60% through the song, SEE VIDEO. The rest of LP1 plays VG+ to EX. Due to this, Track 1 Side B is VG. SEE PHOTO.
LP3 – Side E Track 1 ("Wildflowers") has similar marks that produce a softer repeating static area during playback in that section only. The rest of LP3 plays VG+ to EX. Due to this, Track 1 Side E is VG. SEE PHOTO.
All other sides/songs play VG+ to EX. There are sleeve / handling marks noted on some LPs, occasional normal light static/pop typical of vinyl playback, but only the two areas described above affect playback beyond what would normally be expected from vinyl. Playback remains strong overall and is an enjoyable listen.
A great set with a couple imperfections. None of the markings appear deep.
Inner Condition:
VG+ overall with some wear along the edges (see photos).
Outer Box/Booklet
Box-EX. Original shrink wrap with hype sticker. Stored in a protective outer sleeve.
