Description
I don’t come across this album too often (it’s been at least five years) in practically like new condition but here is a magnificent copy of Something Anything by Todd Rundgren on a USA Bearsville (distributed by Warner Brothers) 2BX 2066 double vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is practically like new other than some superficial slight wear and some slight bottom and opening edge wear. The copy I originally bought in the 1970’s had this little amount on it when the shrink was still on it, but let’s call it a pro VG+. It is real hard not go with near mint but I will stay on the conservative side. There are of coarse no splits, cuts, holes, notches, rips or tears. Everytime I have seen a copy of this album it is well worn, jacket and records. The original poster lyric sheet is included also intact with no detractions.
The LP’s are a beautiful visual near mint minus, and the minus is only for a small light mark on track one on side four that does not sound at all. All sides are super clean, no other marks, not a one!! There is a visible spindle mark on each LPs’ side one. Sides one, two and three all have 1-A stampers, side four, the live in the studio side that does not have any overdubs, is a 1-C stamper. I actually wound up playing all four sides and MAN does this album sound great!! Full bottom end range from the opening notes of I Saw The Light. The LP’s also play QUIET!! There is very little ticking if anything, which is rare for a Bearsville pressing, they always tended to be on the noisy side. This album comes to LIFE on this pressing, with three 1-A early stampers. This copy is hence play graded near Mint! I will trounce the Mobile Fidelity vinyl and CD!!
