Description
Here’s a VERY rare original 1972 Bearsville/Warner Bros white label promotional copy of Todd Rundgren’s Something/Anything in red and blue color vinyl. These are very sought after. They made a black vinyl white label promo of Something Anything but there only are a small handful of these red and blue disc promos and they are highly coveted by Todd collectors.
***The blue disc in this set has turned almost black over the years. This is a common phenomenon that happens with most of the blue discs from this set as they age. When you hold them up to light, you can still see they are opaque and the blue in the vinyl, which after it darkens looks more green. (See pics)
If you look up this version on Discogs and scroll to the bottom and read the notes you will see this a very common occurrence with this set.
This copy has a quite a bit of wear but plays ok w only a small amount of surface noise. The most egregious defects will be several spindle drags on Disc 1(red disc) See pics. But aside from some mild surface wear these white labels color vinyl promos sound full and bold. The cover has wear and some tape on one corner. This is starting at a low price. you see these come around less and less so dont sleep! Comes with plain white inners and no booklet. Thanks for looking.
