Sleeve in very good* condition. A few flecks on the spine and a small white dot on the front. ( Can be seen in photo.) This is a gatefold sleeve. An additional photo of the inside is included.

The left side looks lighter than the rest but this is due solely to my limitations with a camera.

The disc is in very good* condition. A few light lines can be seen under electric light. There is a thin radial mark on side 2. This is about 1 cm long and crosses tracks 1 and 2. These seems to have zero impact on the sound quality. (I can't hear it or see it on the wav files.)

The sound quality is excellent as as you can confirm for yourself on the attached eCommerce Player. (In fact my request/demand is that you listen before placing any bid.)

(This album recorded on my Thorens 180 turntable using “Audacity”, exported as 128 kbps MP3 files and uploaded into eCommerce Player. No editing whatsoever.)

Prog Rock in a gatefold sleeve, my favourite! The tracks on the inner sleeve are in a different order from the record itself. I believe that this album has been released as a CD including 3 extra tracks which constituted their first single.

Dawn was the label on which Mungo Gerry had their million seller “In The Summer Time”. Titus Groan sounds nothing like that but there must have been some edict about having mutton chop sideburns.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
