Description
Tin Machine with David Bowie 1989 VInyl LP In Shrink With Hyper Sticker EX/EX
The record is in EX condition with the slightest of sleeve marks visible during close inspection under bright light. The cover is in in shrink with hype sticker. The cover presents as EX though there a couple visible flaws, which I will describe. I can see some light creasing along spine in 3 or four places visible through the shrink. I can also see where the original owner when using a blade to open the shrink along the side that opens caught the middle of one of the cardboard edges and split it a little over 1" long. This is only noticeable when inspecting the opening and peering directly into the pocket. There is also a tiny upturned corner about the size of a pencil tip on the bottom right edge. The record lays flat and sounds great.
Note on grading:
Grading scale: NM / EX / VG+ / VG / G+
I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits. I’ve been selling LPs on eBay since 1999 and have 100% positive feedback.
