Description
This is an auction of a very rare Thelonious Monk Quartet - Thelonious Himself - Riverside 12-235 Blue with silver tape deck DG deep groove labels.. One of several rare Monk and Coltrane LPs being auctioned this week on ebay - with NO reserve prices.
Visually graded record is Mint- to VG++ with just a few light marks and PLAY GRADED VG++ (fairly slight crackles except for background noise a bit heavier on first track of side 2) to Mint-, cover is VG+ due to ring wear, corner tip wear and top edge wear including a 3" split at opening edge, also a 3" stain on back upper left corner.
