Mega rare original LP of Thelonious Monk - Thelonious Himself  (Riverside 12-235 - mono)  Original blue Bill Grauer Productions labels with reel and mic logo and deep groove on both sides.  Essential Monk LP features Monk mostly in a solo setting, but featuring John Coltrane on one track ("Monk's Mood").  Truly a classic that no serious jazz collector can be without. 

The LP is in strong VG+/VG++ condition with some marks that may make a bit of noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but pretty darned good for an LP of this vintage - still, you may hear some noise on this one.  The cover is in VG+ condition with some general shelf/age wear and some clear tape on the top and bottom seams.  NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps.  Not perfect, but very solid  copy of a rare classic. 

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

Mailing costs have gone up.  Postal rates have increased, the cost of record mailers have increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing (in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments).   I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.

International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.   One LP to Canada would be $20.00

US mailing costs:  Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.
