Mega rare original LP of Thelonious Monk - Thelonious Himself  (Riverside 12-235 - mono)  Original blue Bill Grauer Productions Inc. labels with reel and mic logo and deep groove rings on both sides.  Essential Monk LP features Monk in a solo setting with John Coltrane guesting on one track.  Truly a classic that no serious jazz collector can be without. 

The LP is in Mint/Near Mint condition with basically no marks to report and with most if not all of the original shine - remarkable for one of these.  The cover is in VG++/Near Mint condition with minimal shelf/age wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps.  If you can find a better copy, just buy it!
