Up for sale is a very clean copy of Thelonious Monk ?– The Unique Thelonious Monk on Riverside Records ?– RLP 12-209, US Riverside blue label with reel and microphone logo.
Vinyl is (visual) M-/VG++. Hairlines, scuffs. Retains much gloss.
Cover is M-/VG++, light wear. All seams intact. "4.98" written in pencil on back cover. Original rice paper inner sleeve is still in nice shape. Clean labels. (see pictures).
I play-graded this one.
Side 1: Plays and sounds great. Surface noise and some light ticks in very quiet areas and in between tracks. A bit of light distortion towards the very end of the side from groove wear. No loud pops or clicks.

From a collection I recently purchased from an 83-year old record collector. His record shelves had plexi-glass doors in front of them which explains the amazing condition of the sleeves.
