1950’s & 60’s Prestige Records Auction
Premium Jazz Collection Purge
Vinyl Condition:OG Flat edge 50th 1st Press, RVG & DG. Vinyl looks VG or VG- with light scuffing and some unfeelable hairlines, but plays VG+ on S1, random light static or pops. S2 song 1 starts off with static but gets better throughout the song, overall VG+ playback, very pleasant listening.
Cover Condition:
VG+, spine has 2' split top and .5" bottom, you can read the artists fine but only the catalogue number and not Prestige. Back has some foxing.
I’ve pulled roughly 40-50 original Prestige Jazz records from my collection to sell. This is a batch of 9 to end Sunday night 4/26.
This selection features a mix of 1st Press Original 50th St NYC Fireworks labels and Bergenfield NJ labels. I will cite the pressing year to the best of my knowledge for each specific listing.
There are some very nice records in this first drop of nine. I am focusing on offering records that are either in superior condition or are the "hard-to-find" pieces that frequently appear on serious collectors' want lists.
Note: The 2nd drop will be even bigger, most likely arriving one week out.
