Mega Rare LP of Gerry Mulligan Meets Thelonious Monk (Riverside 1106 - stereo) Original black labels with reel and mic logos and Bill Grauer Productions New York City on both sides - NOT a current re-issue! Fantastic Monk session teams him up with Gerry Mulligan for the only time on LP. Also features Wilbur Ware and Shadow Wilson in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with marks that will make noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and olt tape on the spine and top corner. NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price?
