Mega rare original LP of Thelonious Monk - Five by Monk by Five (Riverside 12-305 - mono) Original blue Bill Grauer Productions labels (small size) with reel and mic logo and deep groove on both sides. Essential Monk LP features Monk along with Charlie Rouse, Thad Jones, Art Taylor and Sam Jones in an acknowedged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.

The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general shelf/age wear and name written on the front (the writing has faded over the years). There is a small split starting to form at the lower right. Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
