Brilliant Corners Thelonius Monk Riverside 12-226 Deep groove both sides.Flat edge. Also US Patent stamps (rare?)
With Ernie Henry, Sonny Rollins, Oscar Pettiford, Max Roach
After many years toiling in obscurity, Brilliant Corners was the album that got Thelonious Monk to the top. A must have for any collector.   Condition: Cover: VG Some shine, no seam splits.Corners bumped.  Name on front and back. Labels: VG+ Name on front and back. First press White.  Vinyl: VG+/ VG  Some superficial hairlines but no feelable scratches. Sporadic very light surface noise that improves towards the dead wax. Bright sound. In the softer sections it sounds like VG. Would likely be improved with a professional cleaning
