Description
I am selling all three of my Choking Victim 7"s together in this auction. Included are their only three 7"s: the "Crack Rock Steady" EP, the "Squatta's Paradise" EP and the "Victim Comes Alive" EP. The "Crack Rock Steady" EP was originally released in 1994 on Scott Sturgeon's "Non-Commercial Records". It features four songs: 1) Choking Victim 2) You Ought To Die 3) Money 4) Apple Pie and Police State. These are all untimely classics! The actual record itself is in great condition and was pressed on a slightly see-through black wax. The lyric sleeve is holding up - but is faded in a few parts on the back cover where tape apparently used to be - but, for something that was scanned onto paper 11 years ago, is in decent condition. The "Squatta's Paradise" 7" was released on "Whattsa Matta U Rekidz" in 1996. It features four songs: 1) Infested: Lindane Conspiracy pt. 1, 2) Death Song, 3) Born To Die, 4) Suicide (A Better Way) [early recording - different from the one on "No Gods/No Managers"]. The artwork and records are in great condition. For some reason though, there is a 1 inch sharpie mark on the record label on the A side. Maybe it was originally released like that? Who knows? Finally, we have the infamous "Victim Comes Alive" 7" Hellcat which was recorded in August 1997. It features two tracks 1) F***ked Reality 2) Hate Yer State. These tracks are both different recordings from the ones on "No Gods / No Managers" and "Hate Yer State" has a different intro. The record and sleeve are in great condition. All these 7"s are out of print and nearly impossible to find now-a-days and were originally only sold in limited quantities. I know there were only about 1000 "Victim Comes Alive" 7 inches pressed.
