Description
The Yardbirds - Birdwatching - RARE EP ACETATE
This is a one-sided acetate. Songs on side A include "For Your Love" and "My Girl Sloopy". There is a band of music on side B that is an excerpt of Putty (In Your Hands). This is was most likely a level test by the engineer, since the whole song was not cut in the acetate.
This is a truly unique Yardbirds item. As you probably already know, acetates are, by nature, relatively unique and are often a one of a kind object. I can't find reference to it past this item, although while doing research into Yardbirds discographies I did find mention of non US or UK EPs that might have this combination of songs. The label says it was pressed in South Africa, so I believe that is the reason these two songs are together on the acetate.
record - VG
very light paper scuffs that probably resulted from taking the acetate in and out of its sleeve. expect a minor amount of surface noise without any skips. i play tested the ep once and it really sounds great: loud, minimal distortion, and nothing obtrusive in the sound to my ear.
Given the age and rarity of this item, it is in remarkable shape and would make a great addition to any serious collection. a truly unique item.
Over the course of the last 2 years we have sold numerous acetates to 100% satisfied customers all over the world, many ending for over $1000. Bid with confidence.

GRADING: All records are strictly graded visually on record and jacket (when applicable).
NM (Near Mint) - Highest grade given. Disc grades as close to perfect as is possible. Jacket almost perfect as well, with little or no sign of use.
EX (Excellent) - Between NM and VG+ usually defined by imprefections often ignored by sellers and simply called "mint" or NM. Examples include a spittle dot on the disk or a hint of post-retail ringwear on an otherwise perfect cover.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) Very clean LP. Maybe a couple of sleeve marks or hairlines on disc. Jacket with faint creases or small dings on corners. Stuff like that.
VG (Very Good) Disc with some visible scuffs or scratches. Should play with light surface noise between tracks and maybe a tick or pop here and there. Jacket with light ringwear or moderate seam splitting. Still very presentable and listenable.
G (Good) : Disc well used, but not abused. Should not overpower music and no skips. Jacket with splits or ringwear, writing or tape. My "G" is equivalent to many dealers' "VG." (Or VG+ or VG++ or VG+++...)
