THE WHO - RARE 1982 BBC ROCK HOUR RADIO SHOW. LONDON WAVELENGTH BOX SET.

3 LP RADIO SHOW

MUSIC AND INTERVIEWS WITH THE BAND, BROADCAST SEPTEMBER 1982.

Here is a very rare box set of The Who's BBC London Wavelength radio show. It contains music and interviews with Pete, Roger, Kenney and John. The show took 3 LP's to produce. It comes with all of the original cue sheets, 4 in total, and the records are housed in a sturdy white box with the stickered front, plain back, hinged on the left as you see in the photos. Aside from the interviews, here's the play list.

A MAN IS A MAN / ANYWAY, ANYHOW, ANYWHERE / I CANT EXPLAIN / THE SEEKER / NORTH COUNTRY GIRL / SOMEBODY SAVED ME / PRELUDE / EXQUISITELY BORED / UNIFORMS / COMMUNICATION / STOP HURTING PEOPLE / STARDOM IN ACTON / PINBALL WIZARD / IM A BOY / MY GENERATION / FACE DANCES PART 2 / THE SEA REFUSES NO RIVER / ITS YOUR TURN / CRY IF YOU WANT / HAPPY JACK / DANGEROUS / ITS HARD / LEGAL MATTER / MAGIC BUS / THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT / I CAN SEE FOR MILES / ONELIFES ENOUGH / ATHENA / COOKS COUNTY / EMINENCE FRONT.

The grading is as follows.

The box is vg+ all around. There is slight one inch tear on the top binding. Also on the hinged side there is writing “The Who LW/BBC”. Other than that both front and rear of the box show some minor signs of aging, as it is a plain white box. The three records are in NM+ condition, glossy, no scratches, just a couple very light surface marks. They appear to have been handled slightly, but possibly never played or played just a couple of times. The labels are very clean no rips or stains, and no visible spindle marks. The cue sheets are NM-; no rips some very faint creasing to a couple of them and very slight age discoloration (if they were bright white to begin with). All around this set is not absolutely perfect but will certainly satisfy even a critical collector. Please see all photos. This is a very nice and RARE addition to any collection.
