Description
I bought this album new in 1974. The vinyl is in very good condition and has only been played on good quality stereo gear. It has not been played a great deal - mainly because I taped the album so that I could play it in the car. The matrix number is 2406001 420 04. All 12 inserts are present as evidenced in the photos. The iconic "Maximum R & B " poster has never been displayed but is the only insert item that is showing its age as the slight print loss on the creases show. The outer sleeve is showing its age but is intact (and the staples are not rusty!) except for a 2 inch split on the left hand seem where the flimsy cardboard has been cut by the vinyl and there is a small mark left from a previous sellotape repair. I have graded the sleeve "Good" but perhaps "Good minus" is more accurate although how anyone could keep this fragile cover in good shape for nearly 50 years is beyond me.
I'm reluctantly selling because I need to thin out the collection and in this case I have the extended CD version.
